The applicant's farm is located on the land of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennials are grown - fruit plums. The entire agricultural holding is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total area under cultivation is 7,411 decares. All used agricultural properties are the property of the applicant. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows fruit plums on an area of 7,411 acres. All necessary plant protection measures for pest control are carried out in the plantation. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 5369,27 standard production volume (SPO).
