The project "Delivery and installation of street accessories (street signs and pylons) in 44 settlements on the territory of Tundzha Municipality" is aimed at renewing the appearance of all streets in the 44 rural settlements in the municipality of "Tundzha", by installing 2324 street signs and 1162 sign posts.
The project proposal includes activities eligible for support, contributing to the development and renovation of areas for wide public use, intended for the permanent satisfaction of public needs of municipal importance by improving the infrastructure and the overall appearance of the settlements in the territory of the Tundzha municipality.
Through the implementation, the renewal of the appearance of the streets in the populated areas will be achieved, which in turn will contribute to the implementation of important priorities laid down in the Tundzha Municipality's Integrated Development Plan for the period 2021-2027.
The lack of road signs with the names of the streets is one of the significant problems of the Municipality of Tundzha. Concrete actions to resolve it have not been taken for years.
Renewal of the municipality's road infrastructure by installing street signs is a step towards building a new look of the all small settlements, the streets will be more visible and easier to discover if necessary, which will create greater convenience and comfort for residents and the guests of the municipality.
The investments will benefit the population of the entire municipality and will support sustainable development and the creation of favorable and attractive living conditions in all 44 settlements on the territory of MIG-Tundzha.
