At the present time, Arzu Ahmed is registered as a farmer, a natural person and develops agricultural activity in the territory of Vetovo, Vetovo municipality, Ruse region. According to a report on the activity, he currently grows 80 pcs. bee colonies and farms 6,980 decares of perennial plum plantations. The applicant's farm has an economic size of 9485.80 SPO. The farmer will achieve and maintain the viability of his farm with the main activity of growing perennial plum plantations and bee families for the purpose of honey production. It intends to increase the number of bee families raised, mainly through its own breeding activity. The economic size of the agricultural holding will be increased by a minimum of 4000 SPO. In order to improve the quality of the harvested produce and comply with the requirements for food quality, and to modernize the overall activity, beekeeping equipment will be purchased, namely - a pollen dryer. Will continue to maintain and care for the perennial plum trees. The candidate will acquire professional skills and competences by participating in a course in the field of agriculture for a minimum of 150 hours. Will participate in a course involving training on major issues in the protection of environmental components in the agricultural sector or will participate in an information activity on these issues. He will purchase and implement an innovative hive monitoring system for his farm.
