The current project proposal for "Modernization of the agricultural holding of ZP Hasan Hasanov" will be implemented on the territory of the municipality. Omurtag under submeasure 4.1. "Investments in agricultural holdings" from the Rural Development Program 2014 - 2020. Candidate for the project is PA Hassan Hasanov, who is registered as an agricultural producer.

The project envisages applying for the construction of an Egg Storage Warehouse and the Construction and Installation of FVC up to 30 kWp, intended for servicing and supplementing the activity of a poultry farm for laying hens with a capacity of 35,000 pcs. in the village of Veselets, municipality Omurtag. The warehouse will also house a specialized egg packing machine with a max. lids 30-40 pack / min. The poultry farm was established under a contract № 25/04/1/0/02612 from 30.08.2017. between SF "Agriculture" and PA Hasan Hasanov. With the current investment intentions, Mr. Hasanov aims to expand its poultry business and to build on what has been done with the implementation of the contract № 25/04/1/0/02612.

In addition to construction and installation equipment for storage, sorting, marking and packaging, the project also provides for the purchase of specialized machinery and equipment related to the cultivation of crops on the farm. The project does not provide income from crop production. The yields from cereals and oilseeds will be used only for own needs, as the main part of them is intended for animal feed, mainly in the sheep farm, located in the village of Mogilets, municipality. Omurtag. The harvested hay will not be sold, but will be used to feed the animals. Pastures and meadows will be used mainly for grazing animals during the warmer months of the year. The purchased equipment is entirely for cultivation of the candidate's lands.
