ZP Nenka Miteva Bozhilova manages 98.2 decares of lavender plantations, of which 67.5 decares are certified as organic production of agricultural products according to Regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008; Ordinance 5/2018 of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Law on the application of the common organizations of the market in agricultural products of the EU. The lavender and yarrow plantations have been certified as organically grown with Certification Letter № BG-BIO - 19 - 0476 - 2020 - EU from the MACOM CERTIFICATION CAP. In addition, it grows 15 decares of yarrow. The project was developed to justify an investment related to the purchase of a tractor and a digital navigation device in order to improve the process of organic plantations of essential oil crops grown in the village of Branishte, Plachi Dol and Dobrich. The assets are intended both to provide the necessary capacity for the work process in the farm in the direction of essential oil crops, and to procure the necessary production tangible assets in order to improve working conditions and quality of agricultural products, as well as to protect of the components of the environment, by reducing dust particles and pollution and saving emissions and applying methods related to minimal cultivation of harvested land, resource-saving and restorative practices of conservation agriculture, using modern digital technologies. The project proposal contributes to the implementation of two main priorities for sub-measure 4.1: 1. Priority 2 “Improving the viability of farms and the competitiveness of all types of agriculture in all regions; promoting innovative agricultural technologies and sustainable forest management "and in particular and 2. Priority 5" Promoting resource efficiency and supporting the transition to a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy in agriculture, the food sector and forestry “.
