The applicant's farm is located on the land of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennial crops are grown: stone fruit - plums and set-aside land. The whole farm is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total amount of arable land is 14,252 decares. The used agricultural properties are managed with a lease agreement. The cultivated crops are registered in IACS. During the current marketing year 2021/2022, the farm grows plums on an area of 13,006 decares and set-aside land on an area of 1,246 decares. All the necessary plant protection measures for pest control are carried out in the plantations. There are no employees in the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire such for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the farm at the time of application is 6776.21 euros standard production volume (SPO).
