With this investment proposal, "Milkkom" is applying under the Procedure for the selection of project proposals No. BG06RDNP001-4.017 - "Target acceptance for project proposals for increasing the efficiency of water consumption in agriculture" under Sub-Measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" for financial support in investments aimed at installations to improve the quality of incoming water aimed at the drinking needs of farmed ruminants animals - dairy sector. "Milkkom" Ltd. is a registered agricultural producer managing agricultural areas with cereal crops, fodder crops and perennial crops, with the emphasis of the agricultural holding being the animal breeding site with dairy cows located in the land of the town. Lukovit, Lovech District. More specifically, the investment on this site is aimed at the supply and installation of an industrial station with systems for disinfection, purification, softening and structuring of water for animals and a polyester water storage tank. Purification, disinfection, softening and structuring of water are activities to improve the quality of drinking water for animals, which are of utmost importance for ruminants and their general health and condition. The quality of water in lactating large ruminants is one of the main factors, along with food, that ensure optimal yield and quality of the produced milk, which makes the investment in an installation to improve the quality of water a priority investment for the livestock farm of "Milkcom" OOD . The investment in an installation to improve water quality is directly aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural holding by increasing the efficiency of water consumption.
