The applicant's farm is located on the land of the town of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennials are grown - fruit plums. The entire agricultural holding is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total area under cultivation is 8.09 decares. The agricultural properties are managed on a legal basis - a lease with a term of 8 years, notarized and registered at the Registry Agency of Kazanlak. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows fruit plums on an area of 8.09 acres. The plantations carry out all the necessary plant protection measures for pest control. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 5861.21 standard production volume (SPO).
