The project applied for co-financing under BG06RDNP001-4.018 under sub-measure 4.2. "Investments in processing/marketing of agricultural products" from measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020, aims to protect the environmental components. EKANI is a joint-stock company registered with the subject of activity - production and processing of dairy products. The farm is located in UPI VIII, quarter 24, farm yard, the land of Trem village, Khitrino municipality, Shumen district. The enterprise sells finished dairy products on the territory of the Shumen district and the city of Sofia. At the time of application, the enterprise has built and commissioned a photovoltaic plant for its own needs. The subject of the current development is the construction of a system for storing electrical energy using rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 800 kWh. The electrical energy storage system will be designed to store electricity produced by the existing PV plant during the peak hours of daily production and subsequent use during the dark part of the day.
The project proposal meets the objectives of the procedure because it foresees investments ensuring the protection of environmental components, which will ensure approval of the overall activity, economic efficiency and competitiveness of an enterprise from the food processing industry.
As a result of the implementation of the project, a significant environmental effect will be achieved from an investment related to the reduction of harmful emissions when using energy storage technologies from renewable energy sources.

Подобряване на енергийната ефективност в предприятието, в това число използване на енергия от ВЕИ за собствено потребление, посредством инсталиране на система за локално съхранение (батерии) на произведената енергия от съществуваща в предприятието ФВЕЦ.: Дейността предвижда инсталиране на Система за съхранение на електрическа енергия чрез акумулаторни батерии с капацитет 800 kWh. Системата за съхранение на електрическа енергия ще бъде предназначена за запасяване на електроенергия, произведена от съществуващ ФВЕЦ през пиковите часове от дневното производство и последващото и използване през тъмната част от деня. Основните компоненти от които е изградена системата са: Смарт преобразувател на напрежение (PCS);Батерийни блокове; Смарт контролер (ESS); Smart Logger за управление и Smart Power Sensor – за измерване на собствената консумация.
ЕКАНИ АД са изградили въвели в експолатация ФВЕЦ с обща мощност 720 kW, върху покриви на сгради и прилежащи терени в УПИ I и УПИ II, кв. 24 по плана на с. Трем, общ. Хитрино (към Формуляра са представени документи). На база извършен анализ за последователни 2 месеца (Юли и Август 2024 г.) от въвеждането в експлоатация на ФВЕЦ в УПИ I и II с инсталирана мощност от 720 kW е установено, че необходимото количество енергия за обезпечаване на нощната консумация на предприятието е в рамките на 620-780 kWh. В тази връзка се предвижда инсталиране на ССЕЕ с достатъчен капацитет за съхранение, съставено от 4 броя подсистеми. Новата система за локално съхранение на енергия ще бъде монтирана в УПИ II, кв. 24 по плана на с. Трем, общ. Хитрино.
