The candidate carries out his agricultural activity on the land of the village of Popovtsi, municipality. Gabrovo, region Gabrovo, growing perennials cherries and apples. The land does not fall into a mountainous disadvantaged area. According to the questionnaire and the attached forms, 10,000 decares of cherries and 3,599 decares of apples are grown during the current economic year. Cherries are in the period of fruiting. Four properties with ten-year leases are managed. The plantations are grown on turf. They are maintained by mowing and removing unwanted vegetation. All crops are grown conventionally. The economic size of the farm is 7948.19 euros SPO. The activities that the applicant plans to carry out in the next years of the project are related to increasing the economic size of the farm, measured in the SPO. The mandatory target of increasing the SPO by at least 2,000 euros will be met. At the end of 2023, 4,000 decares of plums will be created on areas that will be rented or purchased. The applicant will have fulfilled a specific result from Table 1, to create at least 2,000 decares of new perennials. In 2023 he will buy a chainsaw / brushcutter, which he will use for the activities on the farm. By the end of 2023, the farmer will start keeping a regular diary of chemical treatments and fertilizers, soil improvers and biologically active substances and will perform a risk assessment in accordance with the requirements of the Safety and Health Act. The implementation of the business plan will start within nine months after signing the Contract for approval under sub-measure 6.3. By the end of 2022, it will receive a consulting package TA 2 under sub-measure 2.1.2 "Consulting services for small farmers" of Measure 2 "Consulting services, farm management services and farm replacement services" of the RDP 2014-2020.
