This project aims to improve the overall activity and competitiveness of the agricultural holding of PA PLAMEN PETROV ZAHARIEV, by investing in tangible assets so that they meet Community standards.
The main activity of the candidate is the production of cherries. In the current business plan an economic assessment of the production is made. The perspective for production of the listed crops is reflected, the economic condition of the candidate is indicated, a complete report of his activity is made and the perspectives for development of this market are reflected.
This investment project presents the possibility for financial support of a project of PA PLAMEN PETROV ZAHARIEV for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment under Sub-Measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020.
Agricultural production is characterized by strong seasonality and campaign. Especially important is the quality tillage, compliance with technological deadlines, improving yields and product quality, creating conditions for the introduction of good agricultural practices and maintaining the land in good agricultural and environmental condition. The cultivation of the soil aims to create in it the most favorable thermal, water-air, biological and nutritional regime for plant development. Without quality tillage it is impossible to effectively use fertilizers and introduce new high-yielding varieties of crops. The final stage in an agricultural year is the harvest, which is one of the most important tasks of agriculture. It must take place within certain time from significant areas with minimal losses. Purchasing a contour pruning machine will greatly automate the harvesting process.
