The project proposal is related to the main activity of the Chitalishte, namely:
Preservation of the cultural life of the population, as well as the cultural identity and traditions. Chitalishte are the main place for the development of amateur art. The main interest is focused on the folklore groups - singing and dancing. In the current amateur groups and groups of the Chitalishte groups are employed 56 amateurs.
Children, young people and adults are trained in dance and singing skills and give the opportunity for participation of the population in the cultural life of the village. costumes and clothes is one of the requirements, and at the moment the Chitalishte amateurs do not have them. This gave rise to the need to purchase costumes, rehearsal and stage clothing, namely:
1. Traditional northern women's costume - 10 pieces
2. Traditional northern men's costume - 2 pcs.
3. Traditional northern women's costume for folk dances - 16 pieces
4. Stage costumes for a group for folk dances, including: - 16 pcs.
- red socks with folklore motifs;
- women's scarf in red with an accent bouquet of flowers;
- buckles
5. - Shoes / scorpions /
 women's shoes for folk dances - 16 pairs
The main activity in the project proposal, namely the purchase of costumes will contribute to the preservation and strengthening of local identity and cultural heritage of the territory.
The implementation of the project proposal will strengthen ties and unite local residents of different generations and ethnic groups to preserve and improve local identities and culture, as well as restore and enrich the representation of local identity and local tangible and intangible cultural heritage. In this way the local identities will be preserved - culture, way of life, music, history, traditional crafts, customs and rituals, tradition.
