Emil Traikov is a farmer, registered for the first time under Ordinance № 3/1999 in his capacity as a natural person on 12.04.2021. The farmer carries out his agricultural activity in the village of Prestoy, Tryavna Municipality, Gabrovo District. During the current economic year the following agricultural crops are grown on the farm: 6,800 decares of natural meadows; 0.400 decares of apricot; 0.300 decares of peaches; 8,000 decares of pears; 1,700 decares of pears with intentions for planting in the spring of 2022; 5,300 decares. The economic size of the farm is 7876.60 euros SPO. There are two properties for rent / with one-year contracts, which will be re-signed every year / and one own property. The farm does not fall within the scope of Natura 2000 and does not fall within the established sanitary protection zones. The farm is not located in a nitrate vulnerable zone, as it is located on the territory of Tryavna Municipality. The farm is on the list of designated disadvantaged mountain areas. The properties that are managed do not fall within the boundaries of a protected area within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act and within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Biodiversity Act. Some of the terrains of the used agricultural areas are sloping. Access to all properties is not difficult. All crops are grown conventionally. The farmer does not have a contract for control and certification of organic production. The applicant has applied for support under direct payment schemes and measures. The farmer organizes and manages his activity himself. There are no production staff on the farm. At present, no accounting is kept. The farm does not have its own agricultural machinery. If necessary, use external services.
