The project proposal envisages improving the energy efficiency in the administrative building in the town of Bratsigovo, which houses the municipality of Bratsigovo, by introducing the following energy-saving measures:
- Air conditioning installation of direct evaporation - SPLIT INVERTER and MULTISPLIT INVERTER systems;
- Construction of a rooftop photovoltaic plant for own needs;
- Replacement of window frames;
- Thermal insulation of external walls;
- Thermal insulation of a roof.
The planned activities include the introduction of energy-saving measures on the building and improvement of its operational characteristics. The project proposal addresses three main aspects of needs related to – reducing final energy consumption, improving living comfort, providing better working conditions for employees and providing a better microclimate in the building administration.
The project was prepared according to the energy saving measures provided by the developed energy survey report and the current legal norms.
Through the realization of this project for energy efficiency of the building for administrative services of the Municipality of Bratsigovo, a prerequisite for the sustainable development of the municipality will be created.
The main reasons provoking problems related to the efficient use of energy in municipal facilities are:
- The poor physical condition of the building envelopes /single-story and unsealed joinery, poor waterproofing, leaks, etc./;
- Depreciated heating installations in the buildings, resized boilers owned by the municipality;
- The lighting in the buildings is filled with energy-intensive light sources.
Through the energy-efficient reconstruction, it is possible to achieve significant savings in energy costs at the same time as improving the comfort of living and bringing it to the legally defined levels.
