The project includes the investment undertaken by the farmer Asen Bakrachev in the construction of an automated irrigation system for 139,511 decares of potatoes. with a total value of BGN 504,733.78, price without VAT. The application of irrigation for potatoes allows the achievement of a great uniformity of coverage of the rained area, which improves the microclimate and optimal irrigation of the plantations. The technology significantly saves water consumption, as well as operating costs for irrigation and system maintenance. Raining is realized by laying LDPE irrigation pipelines, from which a sprinkler is installed by means of a hydrant and a PVC pipe. These pipelines take water from other distribution pipelines. This technology allows supplying the necessary irrigation rates with great accuracy, both in terms of time and size of water table. The attachment of the irrigation pipelines to the distribution pipelines of the irrigation circles is intended to be done by starting connections. The irrigation pipelines are prefabricated and placed above ground, which creates a significant advantage in terms of both the installation of the irrigation installation and its removal after the end of the irrigation season. Also, the quick and easy assembly and disassembly of the rain installation allows it to be stored in the winter, which significantly increases its operational period.
