Rositsa Nikolova is a natural person, registered as an agricultural farmer in the Agricultural Directorate of Rousse under Ordinance No. 3 on the establishment and maintenance of a register of farmers, since October 2015. The agricultural activity is basic to the applicant and is aimed at raising bee families for the purpose of producing honey. The farm is located on the territory of Batishnitsa village, Ivanovo municipality, Ruse district. The farmer will achieve and maintain the viability of his farm with the main activity of beekeeping for honey production. It intends to increase the bee families raised by increasing the available number by 5 in the first business year, by another 25 in the second year and will reach a total of 160 bee families in the second year, when it intends to apply for a second payment. An increase in the economic size of the holding will be achieved by a minimum of EUR 2,000. In order to improve the quality of production and to comply with the requirements for food quality, and to modernize the overall activity, beekeeping equipment, namely a printing press and a waxing mill, will be purchased. Will continue to raise bee families, applying the principles of organic farming.
