Description

The current project proposal includes investments in providing water for large ruminants of meat breeds. The activities envisage the implementation of water-saving technologies in the company's livestock facility. The planned costs are for the installation of a water tank with a volume of 200 m3 and the installation of double and single drinkers with protection against water freezing. In order to provide constant water for irrigation, the purchase of a cistern with a volume of 10 m3 is planned, which will fill the water reservoir every other day. The methodology and organization of implementation of the new technological organization will lead to a reduction in the costs of providing water to the animals, especially in the dry and hot months. The cistern will supply water from a municipally owned dam. When determining the investments included in the project proposal, we took into account the minimum need to provide water for the animals, when raising 80 animals of meat breed. The volume of the tank and the drinkers make it possible to provide water for a period of 20 to 30 days without refilling from the cistern. Drinking bowls are equipped with protection against water freezing. In order to supply quality water, a cistern is needed, which will supply water every three days. Thus, the chosen technology makes it possible to realize a great saving of water.
