With this project proposal, PI Siyana Rumenova Deneva applies to the LLG Elena and Zlataritsa Municipalities, Project Selection Procedure No. BG06RDNP001-19.295 under sub-measure 4.1.2. "Investments in agricultural holdings under the Thematic sub-program for the development of small farms" of measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the Community-led Local Development Strategy for the territory of the LAGs of Elena and Zlataritsa municipalities for the purpose of modernization of the agricultural economy in the sensitive sector - Plums in the territory of the town of Zlataritsa. With this project proposal Siyana Rumenova Deneva is applying for the purchase of a portable dryer, which will work with the reduction of hot air. The main purpose is for fruit drying - plums. The dryer to be purchased is mobile. It will be stored under a shelter in a property close to the plum trees. This will save on transport costs, ensure high quality of raw material and optimize the whole process. Dried plums are extremely useful and have excellent taste qualities, which makes them sought after not only in Bulgaria but also abroad. This first reduces the time of freshly harvested agricultural products and processed products. This preserves the most beneficial properties (vitamins and minerals) of the already processed fruits in order to obtain maximum quality production. The other point is that in this way a continuous work process is created, through which the permanent employment of the staff is ensured and this leads to reduction of unemployment in the territory of the LAGs of Elena and Zlataritsa municipalities. Once the fruits have been dried, the finished product will be transferred to the processing plants which will carry out the packaging.
