The farm of Minka Mihailova Shopova is located on the land of Spasovo village, Chirpan municipality, Stara Zagora district. It is not located in a mountainous area and does not fall under the nitrate vulnerable zones.
The farm is developing in the "Livestock" sector - raising bee families. During the 2018/2019 marketing year, the farmer grows 125 bee families. The apiary is registered in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Veterinary Medicine and Ordinance 10/2015 on the conditions for registration and the procedure for identification of bee families. Each hive is marked with its own identification number. The breeding site is located on UPI-VII-176, in square 12, with a total area of ​​1,870 acres and UPI-VI-176, in square 12, with a total area of ​​1,530 acres, located in the village of Spasovo. Chirpan. The breeding establishment is entered in the register of breeding sites of the Regional Directorate for Food Safety - Stara Zagora with veterinary registration 6249-0060, and meets the veterinary requirements. The certificate was issued on the basis of Article 137, Paragraph 6 of the Law on Veterinary Medicine.
Bee families are bred in the traditional way. Maintenance of the available number of families in the apiary and their planned increase envisages carrying out through their own breeding activity.
