The object of the investment is the purchase and installation of battery systems with a total capacity of 486.2 kW, connected to a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of 110 kW for self-consumption in the processing of meat products. Meat processing, which involves the use of refrigeration chambers, is quite energy-intensive. The refrigeration chambers operate for 20 minutes every hour in a continuous 24-hour cycle. During periods when the compressors of the refrigeration chambers are not running, electricity will be generated and stored in the battery systems. According to an analysis prepared by a competent expert, 388.8 kW of energy will accumulate per day. This represents 80% of the capacity of the planned batteries. The required power is determined by the manufacturer's recommendations and the consumers' needs in a continuous 24-hour cycle. In conclusion, the competent expert believes that the selected combination of battery systems will fully meet the 24-hour needs of consumers with a total installed capacity of 110 kW, with the battery systems having a 25-year efficiency.

With this investment, the main goals of the program will be achieved, namely improving the overall activity in the processing of meat products, economic efficiency, and the competitiveness of the company through enhanced energy efficiency and environmental protection. Electricity costs for consumers with a total installed capacity of 110 kW will be reduced by 100% as a result of the investment, which in turn will significantly reduce the cost of processed products, as electricity is a key resource in processing. This will improve the economic efficiency and competitiveness of the company.
