Ivelina Yordanova Ganeva is a natural person, registered as a farmer under Ordinance No. 3 for the establishment and maintenance of a register of farmers, in the OD "Agriculture", Ruse. The agricultural activity is aimed at raising bee families for the purpose of extracting honey and bee products. The farmer owns two livestock farms, where he raises a total of 109 bee families. They are located on the territory of the village of Pisanets, Vetovo municipality, Rousse district. Both livestock sites are located on land owned by the beneficiary. It will achieve and maintain the viability of its farm with the main activity of raising bee colonies for the purpose of honey production. It intends to increase the number of bee colonies and will reach 137 bee colonies in the first marketing year, when it plans to apply for a second payment. An increase in the economic size of the farm by at least EUR 2,000, measured in standard production volume, will be achieved. In order to save time and money, and to comply with the requirements for food quality, and to modernize the overall activity, beekeeping equipment will be purchased, namely a wax melter. It will maintain its holding in accordance with the applicable European Union standards relating to the supported activities. For the purpose of investments and activities that contribute to the sustainable and digital economic recovery described in Annex № 11, it intends for one apiary to develop a video surveillance system, which is an innovation for the activity.
