The applicant's farm is located on the land of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennials are grown: fruit cherries on an area of 6,001 decares, fruit pears on an area of 5,803 decares and set-aside land on an area of 5,008 decares . The whole farm is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total amount of arable land is 16,812 decares. All used agricultural properties are managed with lease, rent and own contracts. The cultivated crops are registered in IACS. All the necessary plant protection measures for pest control are carried out in the plantations. There are no employees in the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire such for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the farm at the time of application is 7541,50 euros standard production volume (SPO).
