The current agricultural activity of the applicant includes the cultivation of stone fruit species - plums with a total utilized agricultural area of ​​10,500 decares and stone fruit species - sour cherries with a total utilized agricultural area of ​​10,726 decares. Plantations are bred in a biological way. There is a contract for control and certification with QC Certification. All properties are in their own possession and are bought with the fruit trees planted there. The activity of the farm is carried out entirely on the territory of the village of Boriki, Gabrovo municipality, Gabrovo district. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery. If necessary, agricultural machinery is rented or external mechanized services are used. There are no irrigation facilities, buildings or other facilities on the property. Plant protection chemicals and fertilizers are not used or stored on the holding. The requirements for keeping fertilizer logs and plant protection measures for all properties are not met. The applicant himself organizes and manages his activity. No production staff is assigned. Currently he does not keep accounting. The activities necessary for the restructuring and adaptation of the farm are related to the maintenance of the existing perennial plantations with plums and sour cherries and the purchase of 6 decares of stone fruit plums in 2021. The plans of the applicant are to purchase orchards until April 2021 and to be included in the biological activity of the holding. To improve the mechanization of the farm, motor hair will be purchased in 2019. This will take place nine months after signing the Submatch Approval Agreement, observing the requirements. By the end of 2020, the applicant will complete a course of 150 hours and a course on conservation of environmental components in the agricultural sector. By April 2021, the farmer will have reached compliance with all EU standards.
