The agricultural holding of the candidate ZP Georgi Krastev Gechev is located in the village of Dermantsii, which are in the territorial-administrative structure of Lukovit municipality, Lovech district, North-Western region. The main activity of the farm is breeding large ruminants - cows of the breed Black-striped and buffaloes. The main products produced on the farm are cow's and buffalo's milk. As an additional production is the sale of male calves for rearing, which are sold after weaning at 7-10 days of age. The project aims to increase the competitiveness of agriculture by realizing investments for modernization of livestock processes by introducing new technologies in production and modernization of physical capital, which will also contribute to improving working conditions and protection of environmental components as a prerequisite for improving the overall activity of the agricultural holding. The assets provided for purchase will be used only in the barn for mechanization of the process of feeding and raising animals. To achieve this goal, the applicant decides to apply under Sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of Measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020, and to purchase equipment and increase digitalization and modernization of production machines and equipment on the farm. The purpose is to purchase a tractor, hay turner, equipment related to the construction / modernization / equipment in the farm of automated / robotic systems used in the various phases of animal husbandry - milking and watering.
