Strom Ltd. is a company established in 2008, producing high-quality canned vegetables and delicacies. It has a highly qualified staff of engineers, technologists and specialists to monitor the quality of the purchased raw materials and carry out the production activity. The production is well known both on the Bulgarian market and abroad. The enterprise carries out its activity in a production base on the territory of the village of Stryama, Rakovski Industrial Zone. In order to maximize its competitiveness, the enterprise wants to introduce innovations that will improve energy efficiency.
The aim of the project is to invest in a facility for local storage of the produced energy (battery) to an existing own photovoltaic system, which will satisfy a wide range of needs such as:
- Reduction of harmful emissions and protection of the environment
- Reducing dependence on imported energy resources
- Economic development and creation of new jobs
- Balancing energy flows and reducing peak loads in the network
- More reliable electricity supply, which will improve the quality of life and social sustainability
The target groups of the project are: The customers who will receive a higher quality of the finished product and final product.
Goal: Improving energy efficiency for the company Strom Ltd, through the implementation of new renewable capacities that will improve environmental protection.

Подобряване на енергийната ефективност на предприятието "Щром" ЕООД и опазване на околната среда, чрез изграждане на 1 бр. съоръжение за локално съхранение на произведената енергия (батерия) към съществуваща собствена фотоволтаична система, с общ капацитет от 193.5 кWh.: Настоящата дейност ще бъде изпълнена чрез придобиване и пускане в експлоатация на 1 бр. съоръжение за локално съхранение на произведената енергия (батерия) към вече съществуваща собствена фотоволтаична система, собственост на предприятието "Щром" ЕООД. Предвидената дейност ще се извърши в имот, собственост на "Щром" ЕООД, находящ се в с. Стряма, област Пловдив, Индустриална зона Раковски.
От 2018 г. в имота на дружеството "Щром" ЕООД има вече изградена и пусната е експлоатация фотоволтаична система, с капацитет от 30kWp, към която ще бъдат изградено и предвиденото съоръжение за локално съхранение на произведената енергия (батерия), с общ капацитет от 193.5 кWh. То се състои от контейнер за външен монтаж, батерийни модули, климатизация, пожароизвестяване и пожарогасене, системи за безопасност и PCS модул за управление.
Предвиденото ново съоръжение за локално съхранение на произведената енергия (батерия) ще се зарежда от съществуващата фотоволтаична система през деня, като ще отдава съхранената електроенергия вечерта, като по този начин ще може да се покриват частично нуждите на предприятието. Произведената и съхранена електроенергия ще се консумира от предприятието изцяло и единствено за собствени нужди.
