"MCD 02" Ltd. applied for the construction of an irrigation system for irrigation of corn through rain, in the lands of the village of Gergevets and the village of Krushare, municipality of Sliven, region of Sliven. Applications are made under procedure BG06RDNP001-4.017 - Targeted acceptance of project proposals for increasing the efficiency of water consumption in agriculture under sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the Rural Development Program for period 2014-2020
The applicant's investment intentions amount to BGN 437,812.55 BGN excluding VAT, and through this project it is expected that the financial assistance under the program will amount to 50% of the investment intentions.
Subject of investment are:
• Pivot irrigation system Valley - 1 pc.
• Multifunctional pump set LAMPO- 1 pc.

The system will provide the necessary moisture in the soil throughout the growing season, which will increase the quality and quantity of corn yields. Through the use of a sprinkler system, optimal use of water resources will be achieved, while reducing water consumption. The system is designed with a high energy efficiency, which will reduce operating costs and reduce dependence on external energy sources. The project will significantly improve production results by increasing the farm's profitability and competitiveness through sustainable resource management and reduction of production costs.
