The current investment project aims to modernize a dairy enterprise by building a photovoltaic plant with a total installed capacity of 70.18 kW/p. The enterprise is built in an ecologically clean area - the village of Staro Selo, commune. Trojan, meeting all current requirements regarding hygiene and food safety. It is certified under Article 35, Paragraph 1 of Regulation (EU) 2018/848 on organic production and labeling of organic products. The photovoltaic plant is planned to be installed on the roof of the buildings of the milk processing enterprise "KONDOV ECOPRODUKTSIA" EOOD in PI 70500.517.4164, Staro Selo village, Troyan municipality, Lovech region. The produced energy will be fully used for own consumption - to cover the needs of the production process. The investment is in full compliance with the goals set to be achieved in Selection Procedure No. BG06RDNP001-4.018 "Target acceptance for investments and activities ensuring the protection of environmental components, including RES" under sub-measure 4.2. "Investments in processing/marketing of agricultural products" from measure 4 "Investments in tangible assets" of the Rural Development Program for the period 2014-2020, namely achieving a significant environmental effect of production and investing in equipment and installations contributing to reduce harmful emissions emitted during conventional energy production and protect the components of the environment. The use of renewable energy sources will guarantee security and increase the energy efficiency of the farm. The effect of photovoltaic plants is expressed in a reduction of electricity costs, respectively a reduction of the unit cost of production, a higher level of energy independence and diversification of energy sources, which will ultimately increase the profitability of the performed activity and the competitiveness of the milk processing plant enterprise.
