Description

The current project proposal is for improving the operation of an existing system for drip irrigation of cherry plantations on an area of ​​199.00 decares. The investment involved the purchase of two pine pumps, four cisterns providing water for irrigation fed by an irrigation canal of the Sliven Branch of Irrigation Systems. With the realization of the investments, good management of water resources will be achieved, which will lead to saving water and moving to more efficient irrigation systems. When preparing the project proposal and determining the investments, they are based on the prepared engineering project and the necessity of upgrading the existing irrigation system for drip irrigation of cherries on an area of ​​199.00 decares. With the implementation of the project proposal, the company will achieve the goal of increasing the competitiveness of agriculture by protecting the components of the environment, expressed in increasing the efficiency of water consumption in agriculture. The realization of the pledged investments leads to the improvement of the overall activity of the agricultural holding. As a result of the support provided under the procedure, investments will be realized that will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of agricultural holdings by increasing the efficiency of water consumption in agriculture. A measuring device, a water meter, will be purchased to record the achieved water savings.
