The effort to strengthen the local community and preserve traditions by promoting local traditions and art is at the heart of the project "Keeping the Past to Be Proud of the Future" of Izgrev-1927 Chitalishte in Rogosh village. The implementation of the project will create conditions for the preservation of the cultural traditions on the territory of the village of Rogosh. Rogosh is not threatened by depopulation, but the global processes of urbanization lead to a change in the way of life, a widespread introduction of mass urban culture that unifies and deprives local communities. This project is an attempt to preserve traditional knowledge, skills and customs or, in general, rural cultural identity. 
The main objective of Chitalishte "Izgrev-1927" is the development and enrichment of the cultural life, preservation of the customs and traditions of the Bulgarian people. Within the framework of the project are included activities, which are a prerequisite for achieving its goals, such as:
- provision of material and technical facilities for the normal and qualitative performance of the activities related to the exposure of the local identity (stage equipment);
- creating an opportunity for local amateur groups to perform through theatrical and other productions (buying stage costumes and decorating);
- promotion among a wider range of individuals of local cultural assets.
The target group of the project are mostly the young inhabitants of the village of Rogosh.
