The applicant's farm is located on the land of Shipka, Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennial crops are grown: EMK - lavender, stone fruit - plums and set-aside land. The whole farm is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total amount of arable land is 31.41 decares. The used agricultural properties are owned by the applicant and managed for rent. The cultivated crops are registered in IACS. During the current marketing year 2021/2022, the farm grows lavender on an area of 16,531 decares, plums on an area of 6,395 decares and set-aside land on an area of 8,484 decares. All the necessary plant protection measures for pest control are carried out in the plantations. There are no employees in the farm to perform the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire such for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the farm at the time of application is 7439.59 euros standard production volume (SPO).
