Currently, Capra MK Ltd. raises 40 dairy goats, but does not have its own livestock farm.
The animals are kept in the premises of a leased livestock farm with registration number 4829780004 (6343-0145) in the village of Mineralni Bani, Haskovo region, which does not comply to the full extent with the requirements for these sites. Capra MK Ltd. is in the process of realization of an investment intention for the construction of a site "Livestock farm for small ruminants and a site for milk processing with a light transparent fence". The project envisages the construction of 2 sub-sites, as separate stages:
Subproject 1 - Livestock farm for small ruminants - separate stage
Subproject 2 - Milk processing plant - separate stage
With the help of the measure will be implemented Subproject 1 - Livestock farm for small ruminants, which provides for the construction of a new farm building in line with European standards.
The investment intention is in the phase of technical design with an already agreed Technological Project by the BFSA (Bulgarian Food Safety Agency).
The building has a place for the accommodation of female animals, and next door there is a milking parlor, fodder storage and premises for growing juvenile repairs (does), a room for storing raw milk and living quarters.
There will be built a warehouse for safe storage of fodder, a facility for storage and decontamination of manure, a fence and barrier facilities, infrastructure for providing quality water for the farm, a cesspool.
The goat farm will keep up to 120 goats with offspring and repair females.
The plan for development of the agricultural holding includes realization of the investment intention for construction and putting into operation of Subproject 1 by the end of 2021, accompanied by gradual increase of the size of the holding by acquisition of goats from purchase and sale and selected growth of the existing animals.
