Description

The subject of the investment for the project proposal is the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic system with a hybrid inverter and a battery pack of 211,200 kW for self-consumption, which will power two refrigeration chambers with a total installed capacity of 159.90 kW. These chambers are used in the processing of organic fruits – strawberries and raspberries. The processing through shock freezing is quite energy-intensive. According to an analysis by a competent expert, the total energy required to power the refrigeration chambers is 350,181 kW/year, while the estimated amount of electricity produced by the photovoltaic system with the battery pack is 267,667 kWh/year, which means that energy costs will be reduced by around 76% as a result of the investment. This will significantly lower the cost of processed products, as electricity is a key resource in the processing. In turn, this will improve the economic efficiency and competitiveness of the company. This investment will achieve the main goals of the program, which are to improve the overall operations in organic production, economic efficiency, and competitiveness of the enterprise by enhancing energy efficiency and protecting the environment.
