The project envisages construction and repair works of the monastery building, which is in disrepair.
- It is envisaged that one in every two cells will be rebuilt and separated as an entrance hall with bathrooms to each cell. In this way, nine cells for monks with a private bathroom and an entrance hall were obtained.
- The stone foundations will be reinforced with a concrete structure - on the concrete surfaces to be lined with gneiss slabs with a thickness of 3 cm.
- Old concrete belts and slabs above the premises at an elevation of ± 0.00 are envisaged, as well as laying of thermal insulation according to part EE on the slabs.
- The wooden structural elements of the roof will be completely replaced, a new wooden cladding, a double slatted grille and a covering of new single-arched tiles will be completed. The joists of the gallery will also be replaced and paneling will be made under it.
- The wooden railing of the gallery, the columns, the capitals will be replaced with new ones in detail of the existing ones. All wooden elements will be impregnated against pests and rot.
- Correction of the higher roof of the northern façade / later execution / and alignment with that of the old part by expanding the gallery in front of the premises in this part, as indicated in the project, is envisaged.
- Atmospheric water will be removed from the roof through seamless gutters, cisterns, galvanized sheet metal gutters and gutters.
The project solution envisages constructive strengthening, as well as changes leading to modernization of the function of the monastery building. On the facade walls it is planned to perform thermal insulation according to part EE and to plaster them with white silicate plaster. The two-storey part of the building at the northwestern end, which was built at a later time and is richly ornamented, will be thermally insulated on the side of the premises in order to preserve the ornaments.
