ZP Dimcho Dimitrov develops its agricultural activity by growing 12,498 decares of greenhouse pepper and 73.508 decares of wheat. The current investment intention of the applicant is entirely focused on its greenhouse vegetable production and the newly created under the project 11 decares of apple orchards with drip irrigation. The main activity of the company is the cultivation of greenhouse pepper. In order to optimize its activity and get the greatest economic effect from vegetable production, the applicant will install portable refrigerators with autonomous photovoltaic power supply, in which he will store the peppers and subsequently the apples he will harvest from the farm. Also, in order to diversify its activity, the applicant will build 11 decares of conventional apple orchard with drip irrigation, which will guarantee high yields and quality fruits. In addition, under this project will be purchased agricultural machinery, allowing efficient conservation agriculture of the newly built under the project apple orchards existing greenhouse vegetables. In order to comply with the requirements of organic farming and good practices in conservation agriculture, the applicant purchases a tractor, shredder and disc harrow for inter-row cultivation. The installation of innovative for the farm automated refrigeration equipment power supply with autonomous photovoltaic plant for refrigerated storage of harvested fruit and vegetables. The refrigeration chambers are installed at a positive temperature and are fully compliant with the capacity of the farm for extraction of fruits and vegetables. The installed refrigeration equipment will allow to fully automate the storage processes in a controlled environment of the apple and pepper production on the farm. Thus, the products will be able to be stored in the provided technological terms without losing their taste, nutritional qualities and will retain a good commercial appearance.
