The current agricultural activity of the applicant is in the field of animal husbandry. Livestock activity is the raising of beef cows, and crop production - natural meadows and meadows and pastures. The farm is located in a disadvantaged mountain area - in the village of Dorkovo, Rakitovo municipality, Pazardzhik district. It does not fall within the boundaries of protected areas within the meaning of the Protected Areas Act, nor within the boundaries of protected areas of the National Ecological Network Natura 2000. It does not fall within the nitrate-vulnerable zone. The land in the municipality of Rakitovo is threatened by erosion. In the current economic year he raises 16 beef cows. The livestock farm is registered under Art. The animals are kept in an agricultural building with an area of ​​36 sq.m. The property is rented with a lease agreement for 10 years. Good conditions have been created for raising the animals. The building is equipped with wooden cribs and troughs. The cultivation technology is pasture. The cows are not purebred, but crossbreeds. For the feeding of the animals, additional concentrated fodder and additives and bedding straw are purchased. Watering takes place in wooden troughs outside the building. Drinking tap water is used. Manure cleaning is manual. There is a separate place for its temporary storage outside the building, which is not concreted. Periodically, the fertilizer is used to fertilize the agricultural land managed by the farmer. The owner has a contract with a veterinarian for the provision of veterinary services for animals. The plant farm consists of 177,509 decares of natural meadows and pastures. Natural meadows are raised for animal feed. They are located on a total of 13 properties, 3 of which are their own, and the rest are rented by the Municipality of Rakitovo - with a five-year lease agreement. The terrain of most properties is mostly sloping.
