With this project, ET "Asen Bagashev" is applying under procedure No. BG06RDNP001-4.017 - Targeted reception for project proposals for increasing the efficiency of water consumption in agriculture" under Sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings". ET "Asen Bagashev" is a registered agricultural producer specializing in the cultivation of fruits and vegetables for direct consumption in the land of the village of Novo Selo, Stamboliyski Municipality, Plovdiv Region. The current project aims to build a drip irrigation system on perennial apple, pear and cherry plantations with a total area of 479.685 decares in the village of Novo Selo, where the farm is located. It is planned to purchase drip irrigation, as the most effective and water-saving irrigation technology. For the needs of efficiency and expediency, a hydro-engineering project has been prepared in which the irrigation system is quantitatively and technically valued in order to achieve the highest efficiency and automation. Drip irrigation of perennial crops is the best and preferred method for watering almost all fruit crops, the main advantage being its ability to precisely dose water to meet the specific needs of the plants, thus eliminating unnecessary labor and costs. It is extremely effective because it allows for the slow and gradual supply of water, which remains at the depth of the roots in the soil. Fruit trees respond very well to this irrigation option, because they develop their root structure deeper and optimally absorb nutrients from the soil. Investment in drip irrigation is directly aimed at increasing the competitiveness of agriculture by increasing the efficiency of water consumption.

Инвестиции в капково напояване: С настоящият проек се цели изграждане на система за капково напояване върху трайни насаждения от ябълки, круши и череши с обща площ 479.685 декара в с. Ново село, където е ситуирано стопанството. Предвидено е за закупуване е капково напояване, като най-ефективна и водоспестяваща поливна технология. За нуждите на ефективността и целесъобразността е изготвен хидроинженерен проект в който количествено и технически е остойностена поливната система с цел постигане на най-висока ефективност и автоматизация. Капковото напояване се смята за един от най-икономичните и ефективните методи за напояване на трайни насаждения. Основно предимство на капковото напояване е, че водата се подава в зоната, където са разположени корените, без да се губи излишна вода, което го прави най-ефективния метод за напояване. По този начин растенията развиват здрава коренова система, която прониква по-дълбоко в почвата, а това ги прави по-устойчиви на климатични промени и същевременно развиват целия си потенциал от гледна точка на добиви и качество на плода. При капковото напояване се осъществява много по-малък разход на труд поради факта, че позволяват автоматизация, което свежда необходимостта от човешка намеса до минимум.
