The intangible cultural heritage of a nation is a major source of identity and is significantly linked to its history. Unfortunately, however, a large number of cultural manifestations such as music, dance, speech, rituals, ceremonies or traditional cultural skills are endangered. On the one hand, active involvement in a globalized international culture related to technical and information progress is essential, and on the other hand, the very vulnerable nature of this heritage, fragile and transient in time, in most cases existing as a fact only now of the performance or the transfer of the skill.
The project proposal provides for the purchase of stage clothing and requisites for the Community centre "Sparkle - 1997" in Dolen village, Zlatograd municipality, Smolyan district for the purpose of involving young people in activities to get to know local traditions, preserve intangible cultural heritage and preserve natural heritage . The investment will contribute to the revival of cultural traditions and customs and to the promotion of cultural heritage.
