The applicant's farm is located on the land of the village of Zmeyovo, Stara Zagora municipality, Stara Zagora district, where perennials are grown - fruit plums. The entire agricultural holding is located in a mountainous disadvantaged area. The total area under cultivation is 16.3 decares. All used agricultural properties are leased with notarized contracts and registered with the Registry Agency of Stara Zagora. Cultivated crops are registered in IACS. The farmer does not have his own agricultural machinery and uses external mechanized services for agricultural activities. During the current marketing year 2018/2019, the farm grows fruit plums on an area of 10,299 acres and set-aside land on an area of 6,001 acres. All necessary plant protection measures are carried out in the fruit plantation. There are no employees on the farm for the implementation of the activity at the time of application and it is not planned to hire them for the period of implementation of the business plan. The economic size of the holding at the time of application is EUR 7461.63 standard production volume (SPO).
