The project proposal includes repair works in "St. Archangel Michael" Church in the village of Kostenets, which serves a population of 3,539 people (data as of 15.12.2022). The church is one of the oldest in Kostenets Municipality. The construction began in 1854 and it was opened in 1857. The size of the temple is the largest in the Ihtiman religion district. The current project aims to improve the physical condition of the building, that will increase the attractiveness of the living environment in the village of Kostenets and the Municipality of Kostenets and will help to develop the area as a center for religious and cultural tourism. The construction works treat the stone wall of the gallery in front of the west facade and in front of the west part of the north and south facades. The columns of the gallery rest on the wall, which is covered above and on the gallery side with rectangular slabs of Rhyolite. The bill of quantities of the project includes laying of 60 m2 stone (Rhyolite) on the outside of the stone wall so that it acquires a finished appearance. This will create better conditions for visiting the church and for social contacts of the visiting people from the local population as well as tourists.

Извършване на СМР за доставка и полагане на риолитови плочи : Дейността предвижда да се извършва СМР върху каменен зид на галерия пред западната фасада и пред западната част на северната и южната фасада. Колоните на галерията стъпват върху зида, който е облицован отгоре и откъм галерията с правоъгълни плочи риолит. От външната страна на зида е оставена само мазилка, която с времето се е увредила от влага и течове и на места е напълно разрушена. Касае се за 60 кв.м площ, върху която ще се поставят плочи от същия камък - риолит и същия размер 10х30х2 см. Така каменният зид, който държи колоните на галерията ще бъде предпазен от допълнително обрушване и ще придобие завършен вид. Тези ремонти дейности са били включени в цялостен проект за ремонт и реставрация на храм "Св. Архангел Михаил" от 2013 г., но поради липса на финансиране той е останал нереализиран.
