The project proposal envisages the integration of a primary producer in the food chain by adding value to agricultural products, by purchasing innovative and modern processing lines for these products. JIJO 85 Ltd is a company whose manager and sole owner of the capital is a long-term farmer, whose farm produces pepper, eggplant and other vegetables on an area of 400-500 decares per year, depending on market needs. The manager of the company aims to start a new activity for processing its own products. The company will start agricultural activity during the project implementation and as of the date of commissioning of the investment under the project proposal, it will produce its own production of pepper and eggplant, which will process for its own needs in the first forecast year of the business plan. Integrating primary production into processed products is a long-considered investment, which is currently already paid for on the one hand by contracted markets thanks to long-term cooperation with contractors and customers as a farmer, and on the other - possible production of finished processed products with fully secured capacity from own production of raw materials. The provision of constant quantities of primary raw materials is one of the obstacles of some of the Bulgarian processing enterprises, as there are not many farms in the country that can offer large quantities of pepper and eggplant and resort to imports. In this regard, the current project has a huge advantage over others - it is provided with raw materials produced in Bulgaria, in the required quantity and quality. Integration of primary products produced on the farm will be carried out through the investment in this project in innovative, fully automated lines for the production of canned vegetables - BGN 3636080 and specialized machines for in-house service - BGN 205 550.
