The candidate Mevlida Mehmedova is a natural person, registered as a farmer under Ordinance No. 3 for creating and maintaining a register of farmers, in the OD "Agriculture", Ruse, with initial registration from 04/07/2022. Its main agricultural activity is aimed at raising dairy cattle, with the aim of producing milk and realizing the offspring for meat. The farm is located on the territory of Trastenik village, Ivanovo municipality, Ruse region. The initial economic size of the agricultural holding is EUR 15859.25 SPO. Currently, according to the activity report and data from the BABH information system, it breeds 12 dairy cows and 1 calf over 1 year old for breeding and pregnant heifers. In order to adapt the farm and achieve sustainability, the business plan for the development of the farm requires certain actions and activities to be carried out. In the process of the implementation of the set program and at the time of inspection, the agricultural holding will have an increase in the economic size of 4,000 euros SPO. The growth of the farm will be achieved through an increase in the number of farmed animals, which will be done mainly through own breeding activity, and if necessary, through purchase. The owner plans to buy a tractor, which he will use on the farm mainly for cleaning the yard and the farm. In order to better control the herd and receive information about the condition of the animals around the clock, he intends to build a video surveillance system for the farm. Will participate in a course involving training on major issues in the protection of environmental components in the agricultural sector or will participate in an information activity on these issues. The farmer will maintain his farm in accordance with the applicable European Union standards relating to the supported activities.
