The applicant carries out agricultural activity on the territory of the municipality. Gabrovo, municipality Gabrovo, village of Kmetovtsi and Sofia region. Gabrovo, municipality Sevlievo, village of Batoshevo. Both lands belong to the list of disadvantaged mountain areas. On the holding are cultivated by biological method 22 decares of young orchards - prunes, which are managed by rentals, entered in the registration agency and registered in the Agriculture "Gabrovo" and "Agriculture" Sevlievo. A contract for the control and certification of organic production has been concluded for the areas and the holding is in transition from conventional to organic cultivation. The farm does not have its own agricultural machinery. There are no irrigation facilities built in the properties. Do not store plant protection chemicals and fertilizers. The applicant himself organizes and manages his activity. No production staff is assigned. No accountancy is currently available.The activities that the applicant intends to carry out in the following years are related to the maintenance of the current 22,000 decares and hiring of already established plum gardens of 6 decares. In order to improve the agro-technical measures on the farm, on the maintenance of the areas in good agricultural condition and on the reduction of the manual labor, the purchase of agricultural machinery - tractor in 2019 is envisaged at an approximate value of BGN 3000.00. After employing the 6 decares of orchards foreseen for the increase, the applicant will add the organic production areas and for this purpose will enter into an annex to the Contract for Control and Certification of Organic Production.The candidate will complete a course on the main problems of environmental protection in the agricultural sector and will acquire professional skills and competences in the field of agriculture through participation in a long course (150 hours). The applicant intends to complete the training by the end of 2018.
