With regard to the current project proposal, the same will contribute to the beneficiary support, which will maintain the existing activity and contribute to continuity and development.
The production of bee products, fruits and vegetables, which are specific areas, with regard to the preparation of activities related to bee hives, bee mothers, diseases and pest bees and others. All these factors are crucial for the development of the apiary, and hence the profitability of the small farmer.
With regard to the target groups, the farmer mainly sells his produce on the cooperative markets in the town of Petrich, where the main type of customers are residents and guests of the settlement.
The main goal of the applicant, related to his participation in the measure for small farmers is to continue the traditional for the area and his family growing bee families and apples, the sale of finished products and maintaining a constant income. Through the possibility of a grant, the beneficiary will increase its financial status. To this end, it will make appropriate commitments in its project proposal, such as protecting the components of the environment, increasing bee families and making at least one investment to meet the needs of the farm. These, in turn, will be the main activities related to the business activities of small farmers operating in the Rural areas of the Republic of Bulgaria. Last but not least, in the period of implementation of his business plan, the farmer will achieve compliance with EU standards in terms of veterinary and phytosanitary requirements.
