Todor Andreev's main agricultural activity is entirely in the livestock sector and is in the field of beekeeping. His farm is located in the town of Marten, Rousse region. It owns a livestock farm with 109 bee families. The farmer intends to increase the number of bee colonies and will reach a total of 140 bee colonies in the second marketing year, when he plans to apply for a second payment. The increase in the number will be mainly through own breeding activity, and if necessary through purchase. An increase in the economic size of the farm by at least EUR 2,000, measured in standard production volume, will be achieved. In order to improve the quality of the produced products and to comply with the requirements for the quality of the food, and to modernize the overall activity, beekeeping equipment will be purchased, namely an electric centrifuge and a maturator.
