Viticulture is one of the structural sub-sectors of Bulgarian agriculture with the potential to organize competitive and environmentally friendly production of high quality grapes for fresh consumption.
Dessert grape production emerged as an independent field in world viticulture in the 30s of the 19th century. In Bulgaria, the beginning of the production of table grapes was set in the 20-30s of the 20th century and its history is connected with the first export of table grapes in 1926. The excellent consumer qualities of different varieties determine the rapid pace of development of the production of table grapes in our country.
The production of vegetables and fruits is also widespread in the country and the region, but the growth of imports for both last year and this year remains high.
This project proposal is under the procedure through selection of project proposals BG06RDNP001-19.420 under measure 19-4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" from SVOMR of LAG Lukovit-Roman, financed by EAFRD, RDP for the period 2014-2020.
Candidate for the procedure is the company "IVKO 2008" Ltd. from the village of Bezhanovo, municipality. Onion. The company is registered in the Commercial Register at the Registry Agency with UIC 204776206, registered office and address of management: Bezhanovo 5792, municipality. Lukovit, obl. Lovech, 18 Belasitsa Str., Rural area, part of the territory of the Lukovit-Roman LAG.
The present project proposal envisages the establishment of a vineyard-dessert in the land of the village of Bezhanovo on land plot 03143.24.7, Tasharman area, with a total area of 9,763 decares, construction and installation of a supporting structure, hail protection system and installation of a light transparent wire fence, as well as the purchase of viticulture and fruit growing equipment for the farm-tractor with a front loader, a machine for contour pruning and viticulture - orchard automatically deflecting active harrow.
