Galin Georgiev is registered as a farmer, a natural person under Ordinance № 3 of January 29, 1999. for the creation and maintenance of a register of farmers, the first registration of which is from 10.10.2019. The farmer is engaged in the cultivation of a total of 30,600 decares, of which 22,500 decares of lavender and 8,100 decares of walnuts in the village of Novakovo, municipality. Aksakovo, region Varna. For the properties he cultivates on his farm, a lease agreement has been concluded for a period of 9 years. The crops he is currently growing are in a period of transition to organic production. He has a contract with a certification company. The farm falls within a protected area under NATURA 2000. The planned increase in arable land will be achieved by creating new permanent crops of 10.00 decares of lavender. During the first economic year, the applicant will improve the production process on the farm by purchasing and putting into operation a meteorological station. As a result, the goals set in the project will be met and the activity and development of the farm will be supported.
