Georgi Birov is a farmer, registered under Ordinance No. 3/1999 on the establishment and maintenance of the register of agricultural producers. This year breeds goat mothers - 84 pcs. The goats raised are endangered by rare breeds in the holding, in accordance with the requirements of Annex 9 to Art. 41 of REGULATION No. 7 of February 24, 2015 on the implementation of Measure 10 "Agroecology and Climate" of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020. 
In order to carry out his business, he uses his own property with the identifier 17405.32.102, located in the area "Desislago", in the territory of Gradevo village, Simitli municipality, with an area of ​​1,246 acres, as well as the own farm building built in the property. with a built-up area of ​​64 sq.m. c17405.32.102.1. During the current business year, the applicant's farm is doing well. In connection with the outbreaks of highly contagious small ruminant diseases identified in the country in recent years, with the aim of increasing biosecurity and overcoming possible future adverse economic consequences, Georgi applies for the open target admission with a project proposal under sub-measure 6.3 "Starting aid for the development of small farms' from the Rural Development Program 2014-2020. In this way it will be able to guarantee the economic development and strengthening of its economy by increase its biosecurity. This will be achieved by complying with all the requirements of existing legislation and increasing the number of animals raised. The planned development of the farm is oriented only in the field of goat production, which will be the main source of income. At the time of application, Opinion No 1 / 24.04.2020 was issued. from the Regional Directorate of the City of Blagoevgrad that the planned activities and investments correspond to the activity of the holding, and that they lead to an increase in the biosecurity of the holding, in accordance with Ordinance No. 44 of April 20, 2006.
