Project proposal of the applicant AP (agricultural producer) Anelia Petrova Vartiyska-Kichukova includes the purchase of agricultural equipment and machinery for the needs of the livestock farm, located in the village of Polyantsi, municipality. Ihtiman, region Sofia.
The candidate raises 42 meat-producing cattle and 1 meat-producing sheep. The animals graze on pastures, measuring 674,927 decares, which are leased with long-term contracts. The project proposal envisages fencing the pastures with an electric shepherd, who will distribute them to areas for successive grazing, which will keep the animals from the farm from leaving its territory, and on the other hand will prevent wild animals from entering the pastures.
The project also includes the purchase of equipment for mowing and haymaking, as well as machinery and equipment for breeding and servicing animals - turning stanok, veterinary stanok, frame for partitions, sliding doors, partitions, partition with door, frame with complete door. A trailer, an excavator, a water tank, a front loader and mobile halls will be purchased for the needs of the whole farm. The implementation of the project activities will lead to a reduction of the human factor in livestock breeding, to sustainable management of pastures and mere.
The tangible assets that will be acquired as a result of the project will be used throughout the year, as the meat-producing breeds are also raised and nurtured in the open during the winter, with well-placed wind protection facilities.
