The farm of Neiko Georgiev is entirely plant-growing, located in the land of the town of Koprivshtitsa, commune. Koprivshtitsa, region Sofia. The land falls within the scope of the disadvantaged mountain areas. The main activity of the farmer is the cultivation of 27,000 decares of potatoes. The applicant owns two properties, one of which has a lease agreement with a term of seven business years, and the other has a lease agreement with a term of eight business years. The areas are not irrigated. The farm is newly established and does not have its own agricultural equipment. The total initial economic size of the holding amounts to EUR 9939.51 SPO. There is no hired staff and at the moment the management, administration and production activities are carried out by the young farmer. The activities that the applicant plans to carry out during the period of implementation of the business plan, in order to develop his farm, mainly include improving the level of mechanization and increasing the arable area on which potatoes are grown.
