The current project proposal is aimed at implementing an innovative irrigation system powered by photovoltaic panels complete with inverter systems. The constructed system is necessary to provide water for irrigation of the fodder crops grown to feed the animals of meat-producing breeds kept in the animal breeding facility of the farmer. With the implementation of the current design - proposed, the farmer aims to increase the competitiveness of his agricultural holding, by protecting the components of the environment, expressed in increasing the efficiency of water consumption in the agricultural holding. With the implementation of the activities and investments laid down in the project proposal, the farmer will timely introduce technologies and control systems that lead to the improvement of the overall activity of the agricultural holding. As a result of the implementation of the investment, the farmer will increase the competitiveness of the farm by increasing the efficiency of water consumption in the farm. The current project proposal was prepared on the basis of an engineering project for the irrigation of 220,000 Dka. alfalfa, providing the necessary fodder for fattening cattle. The areas included in the project are proposed in accordance with the necessary food for raising the animals in the livestock facility, and the engineering project was developed based on the necessary food for a farm that will sell 60 fattened calves per year. The area on which the irrigation system will be built is 220.00 decares.
